Jeremy Sims, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, Cert. SMT

Owner & Physical Therapist

My name is Dr. Jeremy Sims, and I am the owner and operator of Sims Physical Therapy and Balance Center. I was born and raised in Amory, MS and graduated from Hatley High School in 2014 and from Itawamba Community College in 2016. I then continued and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. In 2021 I graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from William Carey University. 

I married my wife Katherine in May of 2023, and we have four dogs together. I enjoy spending my free time hunting and fishing. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and family. 

Chelsea Williams, OT

Occupational Therapist

My name is Chelsea Williams. I graduated from Nettleton High School in 2013 and married my high school sweetheart, Hunter Williams, in 2015. I graduated from ICC as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in 2016. I quickly decided that I wanted to further my career and went on to become an Occupational Therapist receiving my diploma from Belmont University in 2019.

I have four rambunctious kids: Maddie 9, Clayton 6, Davey Mae 2, and Lovey 1. My time is usually spent and centered around them. They keep life fun and young! I attend Meadowood Baptist Church where I serve as a first grade Sunday school teacher. I look forward to working and helping others to regain independence and improve their quality of life at Sims Physical Therapy and Balance Center.

Katie Lindsey, OT

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

My name is Katie Lindsey. I graduated from Nettleton High School in 2009. I received a bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of MS. I then went to OT school at UMMC in Jackson where I graduated in 2017. I've worked with a variety of populations and in multiple settings including long term care, outpatient, acute care, home health, and pediatrics. I have a special interest in sensory processing disorder in the pediatric population.I married my wonderful husband, Kyle Lindsey, in 2013 and we have two rowdy boys, John Grady (5) and Grayson (3). We spend the majority of our free time either serving at Liberty Baptist Church or at the ball field. I love being a therapist and look forward to helping meet the needs of this community at Sims Physical Therapy & Balance Center 

China Odom, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

My name is China Odom! I am originally from the Amory area, and I graduated from Hatley in 2012. I attended Northeast Community College and Itawamba Community College after high school where I earned my Associates degrees prior to attending the University of Mississippi. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017 with a Bachelors in English. I then graduated the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019 at ICC. I have spent my time following the program working in Acute Rehab at NMMC and am now excited to join the team at Sims! During my time as a therapist, I have worked in many diverse areas such as: pediatrics, wound care, and orthopedics along with many others! 

I enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time with my dog Benji! I love music and watching movies/true crime documentaries! I look forward to serving my community through therapy and hope to make a positive impact during my interactions with my patients!

Mackenzie Gallop, OTA 

Occupational Therapist Assistant

My name is Mackenzie Gallop, and I am from Amory! I graduated from Amory High School in 2019 and then graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Itawamba Community College in 2023. I enjoy working with both pediatric and geriatric populations. I have a special interest in helping children diagnosed with learning disabilities. 

I enjoy music, shopping, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my family. I am a member at Meadowood Baptist Church where I enjoy growing my faith!

I love being a part of the Occupational Therapy community, and I cannot wait to meet many new faces at Sims Physical Therapy and Balance Center!

Katherine Morgan Sims, BSN, RN

Marketing & Community Relations Director

My name is Katherine Sims, and I was born and raised in Amory, MS. I graduated from Hatley High School in 2018 and later graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and from the University of Mississippi's Accelerated BSN program. I am now a Labor and Delivery nurse at Gilmore-Amory Hospital. I help coordinate marketing events for Sims Physical Therapy and Balance Center.

I married Jeremy in May of 2023 and enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my two mini dachshunds, Della and Daisy.
